The benefits of exercise during and after pregnancy

During pregnancy your body goes through an enormous amount of change in a relatively short time. This ‘shock to the system’ can leave you feeling all out of whack. Exercise pre and postpartum is a great way to support your body during the tsunami of physical changes, reduce aches and pains, and prepare your body to get back to regular exercise sooner.

What is personal training like during and after pregnancy?

We focus A LOT on the core and the pelvic floor! My aim is to keep you moving as much as possible while also strengthening your entire body. Depending on your level of fitness, stage of pregnancy and history I will use a variety of resistance bands, weights and body weight exercises to get you working hard.
